From December 12-14, the grand InterContinental in UAE’s Ras Al Khaimah was abuzz with the industry’s most anticipated event of the year, the Ortak x B.F.T.H. Arena Awards 3.0. Hundreds of industry leaders gathered together to recognise and celebrate the most innovative concepts to emerge from the iGaming sector.
The event marked a significant milestone, outdoing its predecessors in both scope and impact. Merging iGaming with Web3 and blockchain technology, it opened up the countless opportunities that each sector has to offer. This time, the list of categories received a fresh coat of paint and included Ortak-exclusive categories, which meant that participants had even more freedom to break the mould.
All entries went through participant, public, and jury voting phases. The voting process was overseen by a third party international audit firm, after which winners in 15 categories were announced in a grandiose awards ceremony on December 13.
Reestablishing the Ortak Platform
Ortak x B.F.T.H. Arena Awards 3.0 also had the groundbreaking Ortak platform in its spotlight, unveiling new updates and features. Vigen Badalyan, Co-Founder and visionary of BetConstruct, introduced the Ortak SnowBall NFT feature that is expected to push the platform into new heights.
Exclusive Collection Launch
A highlight of the event was an exclusive collection launched by Tom Horn Gaming in collaboration with Ortak. The collection titled AKNE fruits was introduced by Tom Horn Gaming CEO Ondrej Lapides at the hit of a gong on December 13, with each NFT purchaser receiving a corresponding physical AKN eye sculpture as a gift.
Celebrating a Milestone
The event in Ras Al Khaimah also celebrated a significant milestone: six months ago, PopOK Gaming launched its First Balloon collection on the Ortak platform during the Ortak x B.F.T.H. Arena Awards ’24 and Harmony V Meetup. To see how far both the platform and the awards have come since then is nothing short of impressive, and attendees at Ortak x B.F.T.H. Arena Awards 3.0 raised a glass to the turning point as a new initiative was announced: the PopOK Property Raffle, a collaborative effort between PopOK Gaming, YoCerebrum, and Ortak marketplace.
The raffle, a first showcase of a new retention tool, featured 150,000 NFT tickets, a grand prize of a luxury apartment in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, along with 42,800 additional prizes. The lucky winner of the raffle was announced on the 13th of December in the YoCerebrum space during the exclusive gala dinner.
As curtains closed on the biggest event in Ras Al Khaimah, not only were past achievements celebrated, but bold visions were set for the future of iGaming. With groundbreaking innovations, exclusive launches, and milestones commemorated, the awards proved how the industry’s potential is endless and new territories are waiting for us to explore.
