BetConstruct’s CEO Vahe Baloulian recently offered his insights on a range of gaming industry topics to gaming executives and regulators at GLI’s 10th Annual European Roundtable in Rome, Italy.
This two-day event brought together the industry’s top thinkers to discuss challenges affecting land-based, iGaming and lottery regulators worldwide.
Mr. Baloulian spoke on three panels: “Concerns for Fraud, Money Laundering and Player Protection”, “Virtual and Live Sport Betting” and “The Where of iGaming”.
As part of the "Concerns for Fraud, Money Laundering and Player Protection" panel, Mr. Baloulian discussed the changing nature of fraud, the challenges of compliance, problem and underage gambling and the evolving expectations of players with regard to privacy.
The “Virtual and Live Sport Betting” panel addressed the ever evolving nature of these products and how they fit within regulatory frameworks of different jurisdictions.
Finally, during the “The Where of iGaming” session Mr. Baloulian examined the current status of iGaming and its future direction from regulatory, technical and operational perspectives.
